Boss Business Brunch: Central Mass on March 29 is more than a single event. It represents the next chapter in a growing partnership rooted in connection, shared vision, and intentional leadership.
Melissa J. Pond is the founder of Melissa J Pond LLC and the Greater Boston Women’s Impact Network (GBWIN), a community created to connect women through elevated experiences that blend opportunity, strategy, and meaningful impact. Through her consulting work, Melissa supports women-led businesses and mission-driven organizations in strengthening their grant and growth strategies, drawing on 15 years of federal grant administration experience and nonprofit leadership.
GBWIN’s first signature event was hosted in a VIP suite at Fenway Park and benefited a charitable organization, setting the tone for gatherings that are both high-level and purpose-driven. That event sparked conversations about expanding beyond Greater Boston and bringing curated experiences to new regions.
One of the women in that room was Haley DeCarlo, CEO of Haley DeCarlo Travel LLC, Senior Travel Advisor with The Travel Byrds, and Co-Founder of SAVA Travel. Inspired by the intentional atmosphere and elevated setting of the Fenway event, Haley expressed interest in bringing similar experiences to Central Massachusetts.
After successfully co-hosting their first Central Mass event together, Melissa and Haley saw the clear desire for intentional, high-level networking spaces in this region. Boss Business Brunch on March 29 at Anna’s Table in Leominster builds on that momentum.
This brunch marks the continuation of their collaboration and the formal commitment to hosting quarterly events together in Central Massachusetts throughout 2026. With Haley leading local growth and Melissa guiding the broader GBWIN vision, their goal is simple: create rooms where women gather with purpose, build meaningful relationships, and move their businesses forward in elevated, thoughtfully curated settings.
